Fisherman Rod is celebrating over 15 years helping people in Northern Ireland find savings. As part of his celebrations, Rod is taking his money-saving skills to the next level, with his latest community initiative, Fish4Funds – selecting local teams or clubs to win £1000 each to support their development.
All you have to do is enter this short form to tell Rod who your club or team are and why they’d benefit from £1000 support.

The lucky winners will be chosen throughout the year and may even get a visit from Fisherman Rod himself as he looks to take on new sports and hobbies across NI …if you have some skills you can’t wait to show Rod make sure to fill in the form!

YEAR ONE WINNERS
Congratulations to our winners who have received a £1000 bursary.
The winning clubs were Carrickfergus Bowling Club, Ardmore Cricket Club in Derry / Londonderry, the Ballintoy Young at Heart Club, Shaw’s Angling Club Armagh and Enniskillen Town United Youth Football Club.
YEAR TWO WINNERS
The winning clubs were St. Joseph’s Amateur Boxing Club in Derry/Londonderry, Ridgeway Rovers FC Dundonald, Portstewart Men’s Shed, Enniskillen Gaels and Pegasus Ladies Hockey Club Belfast.
NEW FOR YEAR 3…
Here at CompareNI, we’ve just announced a major expansion to our Fish4Funds community project, with the charity prize pot increasing to £10,000!
The expanded scheme will now see 10 local organisations awarded £1,000 each over the next year – twice the number of winners previously backed through the programme.
The Fish4Funds initiative supports local groups making a positive impact in their communities – lucky winners have used the funding to purchase essential equipment, improve facilities, expand programmes and support outreach work.
